PAWNBROKER BARGAIN ! 44mm stainless steel Rolex Yachtmaster II model 116680 with white dial and blue ceramic bezel insert on Oysterlock 78210 bracelet. In excellent condition with both boxes, a (later) Yachtmaster II instruction booklet, numbered green swing-tag and UK warranty card from Whittles of Preston dated June 2013. The NEW equivalent is now £16,000 but (as with many steel versions of the Rolex professional series) supply is limited and residual prices have a life of their own. This is a complicated watch but fortunately it has that precious English instruction booklet. Rolex also provide a video guide on their website, which we can locate for you if required.

    • Serviced by Rolex in November 2017 – a very desirable “Kermit” 16610 LV from 2006 with boxes, tags, UK papers and more! Stainless steel Rolex Date Submariner model 16610 T / LV with Mark IV maxi dial and green “slim 4” / “thin 4” bezel insert. This is a D6xxxxx case-number watch in excellent condition with both boxes in delivery sleeve, Submariner booklet, both swing-tags (the green one’s sticker specifying that it is a 16610LV), delivery bezel protector, original UK papers dated April 2006 and a Rolex UK service card dated November 2017, again specifying that it is a 16610LV. The original owner paid £475 for a full service through a main agent at that time. Correctly, this version has a plain, un-numbered inner rehaut. It is in excellent condition with perfect glass, excellent bracelet and only the very lightest of marks on the bezel insert. There is a fatter, new equivalent model made by Rolex, though usually not available without a huge premium now. The older models have been increasingly sought after since they were discontinued some years ago and have proved enduringly collectible.
