Classic Rolex from approx. 1987 ! 36mm bicolour Rolex Datejust model 16013 with silver / diamond dot dial on Jubilee 62523 bracelet. This 3035 calibre watch is in surprisingly nice condition for its age. It comes with a later Rolex box-set, YOUR ROLEX OYSTER booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. It has been fitted with a synthetic sapphire glass that is not by Rolex, to update the older and more easily marked acrylic glass. We don’t as a rule approve of such work, but this appears to have been very well executed, it modernises the watch and tests well for water-resistance. The new equivalent is now £13,950 ! This watch began its life with a fluted, white metal bezel but at some point this has been swapped for the plain steel, engine-turned bezel from a contemporary 69240 model. Has just had a full movement service and comes with an Oyster booklet, red swing-tag, our own presentation box and warranty card. The NEW equivalent is now £4,150 but this watch has been priced very keenly to reflect its age and condition.
