£12,899 Stock number: 52-90-01636mm Rolex Day-Date model 18238 in 18ct yellow gold with sparkling silver / diamond dot dial on President bracelet. In very pleasing condition, this circa 1990 model * comes with correct Day-Date booklet, modern Rolex boxes, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The 18238 with its 3155 calibre movement was the first model to feature the “double quick-set” feature for easy, independent alteration of the Day and Date. * We note that the date-code on the clasp indicates that this part is from around 1980 while the “53” end-links would more commonly be found on bracelets for 1803 model Day-Dates, so we believe the bracelet has been swapped from an earlier watch and is possibly restored, which is reflected in the price. The NEW equivalent is now £36,900 !

These models were launched in 2012 and are just as likely to be worn by gents or ladies now. These credit-card sized calendar cards were supplied with new Rolex watches for many years. Each card covers a two-year period, i.e. 1995-1996, 1996-1997 etc. Miltons have acquired a limited stock of excellent examples priced from £19 depending on stock, rarity and condition of the specific card required.

It comes with beautiful Rolex box set, YOUR ROLEX OYSTER booklet and international Rolex papers dated February 2000. This watch has spent much of its life unworn in a safe, but we are always mindful that this style of bracelet does not cope well with hard wear, so recommend that it is looked after appropriately as the striking dress watch it is.

This recent addition to the Yachtmaster range was launched in 2019 has proved especially popular ! £29,999 Stock number: 52-67-022Available today, still in service stickers and fresh from Rolex overhaul ! 42mm Rolex Sky-Dweller model 326938 in 18ct yellow gold with gorgeous silvery “sun-dust” / Roman numeral dial on Oyster 72418 bracelet. As with the Daytona, it seems that a Rolex with complicated functions can prove exceptionally popular. This yellow gold model was launched only in 2012 but its brilliant condition suggests this one may be more recent. Comes with large Rolex boxes, Sky-Dweller booklet, red swing-tag and Rolex UK service card dated August 2023 when it had a full movement overhaul and new glass fitted at a cost of £1,268. Ask for our Rolex-trained specialists Phil or Paul to discuss this watch with you. This is a complicated time-piece, but as well as having that precious instruction booklet (phew!) its new owner may also refer to the online user guide and video available on Rolex’s own website. £14,999 Stock number: 52-61-004Interesting and collectible white gold Rolex! 36mm Rolex Day-Date model 18039 in 18ct white gold with grey-brown “ghost” / diamond dot dial on President 8385 bracelet. The “ghost” dials (usually pale colours with white text) have seen increased collector interest in recent years. In very good condition, this 1980s watch comes with large “luggage-style” Rolex box, correct Day-Date booklet (itself now increasingly valuable!), our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. At considerable expense we have just fitted a number of new links direct from Rolex, but we do note that the dial is showing very slight signs of age and the glass is generic, NOT by Rolex. The 18039 introduced the “single quick-set” feature to allow easier setting than on previous versions of the Day-Date, thanks to its 3055 calibre movement. The NEW equivalent is now £35,800! £25 Stock number: Misc.PT 114864GENUINE ROLEX service / storage / travel pouch with folding press-stud flap and simple green watch-holder insert. Each is approx 12cm x 6.5cm when closed and is suitable for holding a single example of most models in the Rolex range. For a number of years these green pouches were provided by the service division of Rolex UK when they returned a watch to its owner. Many owners now use them as smart travel or storage pouches. They are pre-owned, but many have simply been in our stores since they came with a watch from Rolex. The price quoted is for a single pouch and we anticipate having a small number available from which clients may choose. £17,999 Stock number: 52-41-010Glittering diamond and gold Rolex Day-Date ! 36mm Rolex Day-Date in 18ct yellow gold, model 18338 on President 8385 bracelet. The model reference confirms that the diamond-set shoulders are original from the factory, by Rolex. The champagne / diamond dot dial is ALSO a genuine Rolex part, but has been fitted later. This colour dial would normally be matched with champagne-colour day & date display discs, though some find these white ones easier to read. This eye-catching watch is in very good condition with only moderate wear to the bracelet. It comes with Rolex Day-Date boxes, Day-Date booklet, UK papers from Mappin & Webb at T4 Heathrow dated May 1999 and a Rolex UK service card dated January 2015. This series of Day-Date with its 3155 calibre movements was the first to feature the double quick-set feature for easy, independent alteration of the Day and Date. A direct, NEW equivalent model with diamond lugs is no longer offered, but one even without the diamond shoulders is now £34,600 — and the last time we could find a model with diamond shoulders (December 2017) they added £3,800 to the new RRP ! We note that one of the features which betrayed pre-millennium Day-Dates was their brushed shoulders. It is a bonus with this watch that the original, diamond-set shoulders remove that visual indicator, so it appears closer to much later models.

£22,999 Stock number: 70-62-025Sparkling gold Day-Date, all diamonds by Rolex! 18ct yellow gold Rolex Day-Date 36 model 118238 on President 83208 bracelet with striking black / diamond dot dial AND a full diamond bezel, from Rolex! Yes, this watch has had its original gold, fluted bezel replaced in 2014 by a new DIAMOND bezel direct from Rolex, which cost £7,175 even then! This stunning watch still has its large Rolex box-set, Day-Date booklet, numbered green swing-tag, UK warranty card from Lepps the Jewellers dated April 2011, Rolex UK service card dated April 2014, a receipt from David M. Robinson for the diamond bezel and an October 2014 valuation from them confirming that the new equivalent with diamond bezel (i.e. a model 118348) at that time would cost £32,150. The new equivalent model 128348 today is £46,300 !

Stock number: Dials for 3155 calibre Day-Date models.Miltons keep an extensive stock of Rolex parts worth over six-figures in its own right (often sourced from Rolex agents who lost their franchises, or needed to raise some money quickly back in the days when parts were supplied more freely). We usually keep these parts for our own, exclusive use but it is worth showing here the selection of dials we have at the time of writing which we would be prepared to fit into a white gold or platinum Day-Date.
£19,999 Stock number: 82-69-00118ct yellow gold Rolex Submariner Date model 16618 with blue “SWISS MADE” dial and bezel insert on Oyster Fliplock 92908A bracelet. This 1999 model watch comes with its Submariner booklet, a later Rolex box-set, red chronometer swing-tag, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The bracelet is in outstanding condition and there is only superficial wear to the bezel insert. We do note that the glass is a generic replacement, not by Rolex. The NEW equivalent is now £38,100 !
