£5,499 Stock number: 52-08-512NEW GLASS just fitted by a Rolex main agent : 36mm stainless steel and white metal Rolex Datejust TURN-O-GRAPH model 116264 on Oyster 72200 bracelet with bright white / baton dial. This D921xxx case number example from c.2006 comes with Rolex boxes, Datejust booklet, red swing-tag, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. Red detail to the dial text, seconds hand and date display are distinctive on this modern Turn-o-Graph. In good condition but the shoulders have been given a brushed finish in place of the polished finish with which they left the factory and (as is common on this model) there is wear to the bezel detail. A standard new equivalent Datejust 36 with fluted white metal bezel now has an RRP of £8,300. This particular variant was discontinued some ten years or more ago and has attracted increasing interest thereafter. Please note that while it features a time-lapse bezel, the Turn-o-Graph remains essentially a dress watch. For more robust purposes we would recommend one of the Rolex Sports range, perhaps a Submariner. RRP1026

The new equivalent now has an RRP of £5,250 but supply is not meeting demand at the moment and many stainless steel Rolex are attracting a premium. £23,999 Stock number: 52-04-530Fresh from Rolex service : 18ct gold Rolex Daytona – in beautiful condition ! 18ct yellow gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona model 116518 with stunning black / diamond dot dial and genuine Rolex black alligator strap on original 18ct deployant clasp. This watch has a random case number which means it cannot be older than 2010, although its excellent condition suggests it may be considerably more recent. These models are just as likely to be worn by gents or ladies now. Comes with large Rolex boxes, Cosmograph Daytona booklet, our own warranty card, a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them and one of the latest Rolex World Service cards*. It had a full movement overhaul, refurbishment and a new push-button fitted at a cost of £1,284.80. The NEW equivalent (which now has a black ceramic bezel and Oysterflex strap) is now £37,350 but availability of any similar specification Daytona remains poor, which is reflected in pre-owned market prices. The current strap can be adjusted in the clasp to fit anything from an average to a large man’s wrist, but if a different length is required we may have to order one, on an exchange basis. We would anticipate doing this at no additional cost, but there may be some weeks’ wait for such a strap to arrive from Rolex, if we do not have it in stock.
* These latest Rolex service cards first appeared in late 2023. They bear no visible details of the watch or service, but instead a QR code that leads to an on-line demonstration of how to access the associated watch’s service details. By holding an enabled smart-phone next to the card, an NFC link is provided which brings up the watch’s unique details and in this instance confirms that it has a Rolex service warranty which runs until November 2028.

£10,999 Stock number: 52-09-510From a private collection, a UK-supplied example of the discontinued GMT-Master II model 16710LN — fitted with a genuine ““PEPSI” bezel insert ! Stainless steel Rolex GMT-Master II model 16710 T / LN (which will have left Geneva when new bearing an ALL-BLACK bezel insert), with black “SWISS MADE” dial on Oysterlock 78790A bracelet. This F993xxxx case number watch with 3185 calibre movement is in outstanding condition, having come from a private, multi-watch collection. It has previously been fitted with the iconic red and blue “PEPSI” bezel insert that has been so popular in recent years and was an original spec. option for the 16710. Such a later insert swap was once readily entertained by Rolex and their main agents, but they seem less keen today. It comes with both boxes, GMT-Master booklet, red chronometer swing-tag, numbered green swing-tag, UK papers from Pyke & Sons in Birkenhead dated November 2006 and even the delivery bezel protector. £6,799 Stock number: 72-06-513Stainless steel Rolex Date Submariner 16610 with black bezel insert and “SWISS-T<25” dial on Oyster Fliplock 93150 bracelet. This 1996 model comes with Rolex 16610 boxes, YOUR ROLEX OYSTER booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. It is in very pleasing condition, but we do note moderate signs of age / wear to the bezel and that the glass fitted is generic, not by Rolex — both factors reflected in this keen price. £1,999 Stock number: 52-06-526Gent’s stainless steel Omega Seamaster Professional 300m automatic bracelet watch, model 2531.80.00 with blue dial and bezel insert. Comes with Omega boxes, numbered Chronometer cert, instruction booklets, original specification sheet and Omega warranty card from Waltons in Chester dated August 2001. Following its association with James Bond in films from the Pierce Brosnan era, the blue dial Seamaster became something of an iconic watch. Under close examination one can see scratches to both the glass and bezel insert, reflected in the price, but its overall appearance is very good. We also note that the red, inner box and document holder are very noticeably discoloured / flaking with age, as if often the case, but they are the original accessories.

This G-series watch with four-line “SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED” text and numbered inner rehaut is one of the last examples of what has in recent years become an extremely desirable model. Yes, this watch has had its original gold, fluted bezel replaced in 2014 by a new DIAMOND bezel direct from Rolex, which cost £7,175 even then! This stunning watch still has its large Rolex box-set, Day-Date booklet, numbered green swing-tag, UK warranty card from Lepps the Jewellers dated April 2011, Rolex UK service card dated April 2014, a receipt from David M. Robinson for the diamond bezel and an October 2014 valuation from them confirming that the new equivalent with diamond bezel (i.e. a model 118348) at that time would cost £32,150. The new equivalent model 128348 today is £54,550 !

These watches were awarded to franchisees of the pizza chain whose sales were outstanding. This fine example from around 2008 comes with Rolex boxes, OYSTER PERPETUAL booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. Please note that such watches bear a Domino’s Pizza logo engraved on the case-back and a plate bearing the same logo that is riveted onto the bracelet at six o’clock.
