The NEW RRP was £8,400 when this model last appeared in Rolex UK price lists some years ago, while the nearest new equivalent today is a steel and rose metal 37mm version at £13,700 ! * The purchase date on the papers appeared to have been altered by a former owner, but Rolex UK were able to confirm for us that this A930xxx case number watch was supplied in November 2000. In excellent condition ( delivery sticker still on case-back ! ) with only light wear to the bezel.     • GENUINE ROLEX service / storage / travel pouch with folding press-stud flap and simple green watch-holder insert. Each is approx 12cm x 6.5cm when closed and is suitable for holding a single example of most models in the Rolex range. For a number of years these green pouches were provided by the service division of Rolex UK when they returned a watch to its owner. Many owners now use them as smart travel or storage pouches. They are pre-owned, but many have simply been in our stores since they came with a watch from Rolex.     • 31mm / mid-size stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust model 78240 with silver / baton dial on Oyster 78350 bracelet. When we sold this watch previously it still had its original accessories including UK papers from Goldsmiths dated May 2002 and a Rolex UK service card from July 2009, but these were no longer with it when the watch was recently traded back in with us. In very pleasing condition, it now comes with a later Rolex box, Oyster booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The NEW equivalent is now £6,100 (if you can find one!) and sourcing good, pre-owned mid-size examples like this never seems to get any easier.
