£8,999 Stock number: 52-67-017Still in stickers from Rolex UK Service! 36mm Rolex Datejust model 16238 in 18ct yellow gold with silver / diamond dot dial dial on a Rolex strap. This circa 1990 model comes with brown “luggage” style Rolex box, Datejust booklet, a scanned extract of Rolex UK service paperwork and their service guarantee card dated March 2021. At that time the watch enjoyed £1,192 worth of work including a full movement overhaul, new glass, spring-bars, crown, alligator strap and gold-plated Rolex pin-buckle! It was 2011 when a NEW equivalent 36mm gold Datejust on a strap was last offered in the UK and with a diamond dot dial this would have cost £13,630 then. Prices generally have risen very considerably in the 12 following years ! This watch is in excellent condition and we believe it has been barely out of the box since the 2021 service. Under close examination we can see some signs of superficial, historic grazing to the bezel and that the model number has worn off, but the crucial, unique case number is very clear and this corresponds with Rolex’s records, confirming it to be a 16238. £6,399 Stock number: 82-66-00636mm bicolour Rolex Datejust model 16203 with polished bezel on Oyster 78363 bracelet with striking black / diamond dot dial. Comes with Rolex boxes, Datejust booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The diamond dial is a genuine Rolex one and correct for this model, but appears to be from a slightly earlier period and has been fitted retrospectively. Champagne and silver dials were much more common, but many will seek out the rarer black dial which creates such a lovely contrast against the sparkling diamonds. * When new, this K31xxxx case number Submariner could have been fitted with either the 93150 or 93250 version of the Oyster Fliplock bracelet and indeed more commonly the latter by November 2001. There was something of a transitional period, but as it is a 16610 with pierced lugs we chose to fit it with the 93150 bracelet which may thus be considered appropriate, the solid end link 93250 more commonly being seen on the 16610 T which had solid lugs.

The highly anti-magnetic Milgauss models were re-introduced into the Rolex range over a decade ago but remain very popular. Like many of the more unusual Professional Rolex models in stainless steel, this can be a hard watch to find at main agents if you’re trying to find one. The NEW RRP is now £7,700 but all such professional series models have been increasingly hard to find in the UK, so we had to pay and in turn are now selling this one at a significant premium. This 4161 calibre model has both boxes, Yachtmaster II booklet, both swing-tags and international Rolex warranty card dated July 2021. It is the revised model with triangle at 12 and “Mercedes” hands, rather than the plainer dial and blue hands of earlier examples. This is a complicated watch but happily it retains the valuable instruction booklet. Rolex also provide a video guide on their website, which we can locate for you if required.
