Pawnbroker’s bargain : current model, barely worn after spending much of its short life in our safes ! 31mm / mid-size steel and rose metal Rolex Datejust model 278271 on Jubilee 63361 bracelet. The original “aubergine” / roman numeral dial with diamond detail in the “VI” beautifully complements the warm colour of the rose metal. Has Rolex box, Datejust booklet, green swing-tag, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The model was released in 2018 and this example is in fine condition with negligible wear to the glass. The NEW RRP is now £11,900 but availability is poor and residual prices are still very strong. A shimmering highlight is the original white Mother of Pearl / Roman numeral dial with diamond detail in the “VI” ! This watch is in lovely condition with only moderate signs of wear to glass and bracelet. Has Rolex boxes, Datejust booklet, numbered green swing-tag and UK warranty card dated September 2012. This exact dial is no longer offered, but we can deduce that if Rolex made one a NEW equivalent would now be £15,150 (£14,800 for a standard diamond “VI” dial, plus £350 premium for MoP).
