It is in excellent condition, having spent much of its short life in our pawnbroking safes, with only superficial wear to glass and bezel.

Comes with original Rolex 16220 box set, Datejust booklet, numbered green swing-tag and UK papers from David M. Robinson dated April 1994. Having apparently enjoyed significant service work at DMR it is today in excellent condition, the superb bracelet being a recent and genuine Rolex replacement, but under magnification we can see some deterioration to the edge of the dial around the 57 minute marker. The lovely box still comes with its white outer carton, but the fold-down flap to the latter has (as often) suffered from wear and is held in place with sticky tape.

Rolex fans were delighted when the company re-introduced an SD4000 into the range, after the bulk of the DeepSea 116660 version had put off so many ordinary buyers. The more practical size of this model, the lack of a sometimes-annoying “cyclops” magnifying lens and 60-minute marked bezel (a nod to Rolex’s military past) were instant hits. In very good condition with Rolex boxes, Datejust booklet, numbered green swing-tag and UK warranty card from John Pass in Crewe dated October 2010. This watch appears to have been in stock at the main agent for a while before being first sold, as the case number suggests it was manufactured around 2007. The NEW equivalent (model 279160) is now £6,000 !

Magnificent 18ct white gold Rolex GMT-Master II model 116719 BLRO (an acronym for BLeu / ROuge, the French for Blue / Red). Comes on Oysterlock 78209 bracelet with the desirable DARK BLUE dial * and red / blue “Pepsi” ceramic bezel insert. In beautiful condition, having spent much of its life in our pawnbroking safes. Has Rolex boxes, GMT-Master II booklet and green swing-tag. The watch also came with what appears to be a warranty card from Sao Paulo dated January 2020, but some unusual features make us doubt the card's authenticity and it is included with the sale only on that compromised basis. We do include with the watch a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. A NEW equivalent is now £35,600 — but often very hard to obtain !
* Earlier examples of this model came with a black dial, but when a stainless steel “Pepsi” was released it looked too similar. For those in the know, the blue dial (introduced around 2018) ensures your white gold GMT won't be mistaken as a “mere” stainless steel model !
