    • Interesting and collectible white gold Rolex! 36mm Rolex Day-Date model 18039 in 18ct white gold with grey-brown “ghost” / diamond dot dial on President 8385 bracelet. The “ghost” dials (usually pale colours with white text) have seen increased collector interest in recent years. In very good condition, this 1980s watch comes with large “luggage-style” Rolex box, correct Day-Date booklet (itself now increasingly valuable!), our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. At considerable expense we have just fitted a number of new links direct from Rolex, but we do note that the dial is showing very slight signs of age and the glass is generic, NOT by Rolex. The 18039 introduced the “single quick-set” feature to allow easier setting than on previous versions of the Day-Date, thanks to its 3055 calibre movement. The NEW equivalent is now £35,800!
