Robinson in Chester dated June 2013 and one of the very latest Rolex “World Service” cards*. The NEW equivalent is now £6,100 but supply still struggles to keep up with demand. * These latest service cards first appeared in late 2023. They bear no visible details of the watch or service, but instead a QR code that leads to an on-line demonstration of how to access the associated watch’s service details. By holding an enabled smart-phone next to the card, an NFC link is provided which brings up the watch’s unique details and in this instance confirms that it has a service warranty which runs until August 2026.

    • Stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss model 116400 with bright white dial / orange indices and “lightning” seconds hand on Oyster 72400 bracelet. Complete with boxes, Milgauss booklet, red swing-tag & international warranty card dated May 2011, though the watch was in fact manufactured a couple of years earlier. This is an outstanding example! The original Milgauss was the model 6541 introduced back in 1956; subsequent models remained in production until 1988, albeit for the most part as the next-generation 1019 variant. It was designed as an especially anti-magnetic model for nuclear scientists near Rolex HQ in Switzerland but has since won desirability in its own right. This watch is one of the newer versions launched at Basel in 2007. Many clients love the Milgauss simply for being such a big watch, with its lovely, clear dial options and funky colour accents.
