Having apparently enjoyed significant service work at DMR it is today in excellent condition, the superb bracelet being a recent and genuine Rolex replacement, but under magnification we can see some minor deterioration to the edge of the dial, around the 57 minute marker. £2,699 Stock number: 50-81-034Gent’s stainless steel 41mm Omega Seamaster Professional 300m co-axial automatic bracelet watch, model 212.30.41.20.01.003 with black dial and ceramic bezel insert. This beautiful example comes with impressive box set, instruction book, matching Omega cards from Goldsmiths dated July 2019 and the original Omega model specification sheet. It is in excellent condition, having spent much of its short life in our pawnbroking safes. The lovely box still comes with its white outer carton, but the fold-down flap to the latter has (as often) suffered from wear and is held in place with sticky tape.

Has Rolex boxes, Yachtmaster booklet, numbered green swing-tag and UK papers dated August 2006. It has just enjoyed a full, £700 movement overhaul through a Rolex main agent’s in-house service facility in August 2024. This is a fine-looking watch but there are signs of general wear, especially in the bracelet, which are fully reflected in this keen price. The new equivalent is now £10,500 !

£7,499 Stock number: 50-79-063Colourful variant, no longer offered by Rolex ! 40mm stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss model 116400GV on Oyster 72400 bracelet with black / index dial, orange “lightning bolt” seconds hand / quarter markers and green-tinted synthetic sapphire glass. Has Rolex boxes, Milgauss booklet, red swing-tag and international Rolex warranty card dated September 2009. In excellent condition, although we do note very minor, superficial wear to the glass. The highly anti-magnetic Milgauss models were re-introduced into the Rolex range over 15 years ago but this last version with its striking green glass was especially popular. When it last appeared in UK price lists the NEW RRP was £7,850, but like many of the more unusual steel Professional models, it was usually a very hard watch to source at main agents. Interest has only increased now production seems to have stopped.

£14,399 Stock number: 50-79-060Collectible example, with original papers ! Rolex Cosmograph DAYTONA model 16523 in stainless steel and yellow metal on Oyster 78393 bracelet with champagne dial. Comes with polished dark wood / green Jubilee outer box set, Cosmograph Daytona booklet (accessories which are themselves worth several hundred pounds!), red chronometer swing-tag and international Rolex papers dated June 1995. It is in very pleasing condition after the previous owner spent £1,052 having it serviced at Perpetual Time in Liverpool in March 2021, after which it has spent most time in our pawnbroking safes. The main case and bezel are surprisingly good for a watch of this age while the bracelet shows only moderate wear, but we do note some signs of ageing to the dial under magnification. The new equivalent is now £18,950 but these earlier models with their Zenith-derived 4030 calibre Rolex movement have a market all of their own. This 2005 model is in very good order but those with an eye for detail may note that the shoulders have at some point been given a brushed finish, rather than the polished finish that they would have had originally. The 43mm model, launched after 50 years of the Sea-Dweller line (hence the SD43 / SD50 names variously given to it by fans), is one of many steel Professional models that remains difficult to source. This unusual dial really needs to be seen in person, the metallic background of concentric circles playing in the light as you move the watch. In lovely condition, it comes with Rolex boxes, Datejust booklet, both swing-tags, UK papers from David M. Robinson in Chester dated August 2005 before it closed down and TWO service slips from Rolex UK dated April 2010 and August 2014 respectively.
