£13,999 Stock number: 52-66-0032022 watch with latest dial – barely worn after spending much of its short life in the safe! 44mm stainless steel Rolex Yachtmaster II model 116680 with white dial and blue ceramic bezel insert on Oysterlock 78210 bracelet. Has both boxes, Yachtmaster II instruction booklet, both swing-tags and international Rolex warranty card dated June 2022, when it was purchased from Goldsmiths in Liverpool. The NEW RRP is now £16,000 but (as with many steel versions of the Rolex professional series) supply is limited and residual prices have a life of their own. This is a complicated watch but fortunately it retains the valuable instruction booklet. Rolex also provide a video guide on their website, which we can locate for you if required. Please note the triangular marker at the top of the dial, where earlier examples had just a square marker like those either side of it.

These models are just as likely to be worn by gents or ladies now. Has large, original boxes, Cosmograph Daytona booklet, green swing-tag and international Rolex warranty card dated September 2021. The NEW equivalent is now £27,050 but availability of any similar specification Daytona remains poor, so we are selling it at a small premium (but less than many other dealers). £36,999 Stock number: 52-65-010Magnificent, all-original gold and diamond Rolex! 34mm Rolex Datejust model 81338 on original “chevron” diamond-set 74858 bracelet with double-diamond bezel and full pavé diamond / black enamel roman numeral dial. This stunning piece is in brilliant condition (well, it’s probably not a watch for every day wear!) and it even has the case-back sticker still in place. Comes with HUGE Rolex presentation / jewellery box set, Datejust booklet, red chronometer swing-tag and original UK papers dated August 2006. From our archived records we have found this exact specification offered in the Rolex UK October 2008 price list (shortly before it appears to have been discontinued) at £45,510 …but prices for new watches have risen enormously since then. The previous owner had around twenty mint Rolex watches, many of them never worn, and this one is another stunner, having even its original sticker still on the case-back! The nearest NEW equivalent is now £10,950! This watch is priced very reasonably to reflect a number of factors : (1) the fluted bezel and bracelet both show signs of wear, such that we now recommend this watch be kept for dress wear only, (2) under magnification, it can be seen that the dial paint is deteriorating and (3) the case and model numbers are both substantially worn *
* Ladies’ Rolex Datejusts of this generation are often now found with one or more of the numerals in the case number obscured by bracelet wear. This was caused by the end-links rubbing constantly against the case. In this instance the third and fifth digits of the unique case number are obscured by bracelet wear, but luckily we were able to confirm the correct case number of the watch from its service history through a Rolex main agent and Rolex UK.

£3,299 Stock number: 52-70-00536mm stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust model 1603 from the late 1970s with silver / baton “pie-pan” dial and Jubilee 62510 bracelet. It has been fitted with a synthetic sapphire glass that is not by Rolex, to update the older and more easily marked acrylic glass. We don't as a rule approve of such work, but this appears to have been very well executed, it modernises the watch and tests well for water-resistance. Because of its age, we offer it with only a ONE year warranty and ask you to note : (1) this model correctly has no “quick-set” facility for changing the date at the end of a short month, so the wearer must turn the hands through 24 hours to advance the date and (2) the bracelet shows some signs of age and wear. It is priced very reasonably to reflect the above. Comes with our own presentation box & warranty card, and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. With a similar, NEW 36mm Datejust today costing £6,650 it is easy to see why such vintage models appear increasingly attractive. £1,699 Stock number: 50-64-019Gent’s stainless steel Omega Seamaster Professional 300m automatic bracelet watch, model 2531.80.00 with blue dial and bezel insert. Comes with Omega boxes, instruction booklets, numbered swing-tag and Omega warranty card from David M. Robinson in Manchester dated 1998. Following its association with James Bond in films from the Pierce Brosnan era, the blue Seamaster has become something of an iconic watch. There are visible scratches to both the glass and bezel insert, reflected in the price. We also note that the main crown has only a short amount of thread, but if correctly screwed down the watch still tests as water-resistant.

Gent's stainless steel Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Co-Axial Chronometer automatic bracelet watch, model 231.10.42.21.03.004. This special edition was one in a series created to celebrate the brand's association with the modern Bond films. It has a dark blue dial with background motif picking up detail from the Bond family crest (also depicted in miniature on the second hand) and yellow details including the Bond-branded “15007” text, this being the number of examples manufactured. Its 8507 calibre movement is beautifully revealed by the glass display-back, allowing admirers to see the rotor with subtle “bullet case” design to the centre and swirled “rifling” design, reminiscent of the film series' opening credit sequence. In excellent condition, it comes with huge Omega box set *, instruction book, branded eye-glass, instruction leaflet and tool for swapping bracelet and strap, the alternate blue strap with yellow stitching (superb condition), international warranty card dated January 2017 in blue card-holder, numbered certificate of authenticity and a receipt for a service under warranty performed through David M. For some years the international specialist collector / dealer communities have seen glimpses of rare treasures that the various Miltons companies have negotiated to buy or take in part-exchange from other collectors, private sellers, former professional divers, other jewellers, auction houses, estates and so on. Stainless steel Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000 model 116600 with black dial and ceramic bezel insert on Oyster Glidelock 97400 bracelet. Rolex fans were delighted when the company re-introduced an SD4000 into the range, after the bulk of the DeepSea 116660 version had put off so many ordinary buyers. The more practical size of this model, the lack of a sometimes-annoying “cyclops” magnifying lens and 60-minute marked bezel (a nod to Rolex’s military past) were instant hits. The “ghost” dials (usually pale colours with white text) have seen increased collector interest in recent years. In very good condition, this 1980s watch comes with large “luggage-style” Rolex box, correct Day-Date booklet (itself now increasingly valuable!), our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. At considerable expense we have just fitted a number of new links direct from Rolex, but we do note that the dial is showing very slight signs of age and the glass is generic, NOT by Rolex. £4,999 Stock number: 52-40-019Vintage 26mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust in 18ct yellow gold, model 6916 with smart, silvery-gold colour / diamond dot dial on Jubilee 6251 bracelet. This late 1970s model is in very pleasing condition. It comes with later boxes and Your Rolex Oyster booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The watch has been fitted with a synthetic sapphire glass that is not by Rolex, to update the older and more easily marked acrylic glass. We don’t as a rule approve of such work, but this appears to have been very well executed, it modernises the watch and tests well for water-resistance. The bracelet shows some signs of its age, but with sensible wear it should have plenty of life in it yet. When one needs to change the date on this 2030-series calibre model, one simply advances the main hands forwards or backwards past midnight. The nearest NEW equivalent is now £23,600!

£9,699 Stock number: 52-60-021Desirable “four-line” Rolex Submariner with box, warranty card etc. Stainless steel Rolex non-date Submariner model 14060M with black dial and bezel insert on Oyster Fliplock 93150 bracelet. This G-series watch with four-line “SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED” text and numbered inner rehaut is one of the very last examples of what has in recent years become an extremely desirable model. Earlier versions did not feature the additional SCOC text on the dial. It is in excellent condition, having been serviced by Rolex UK in 2019 when a new glass was also fitted. Comes with Rolex boxes, Submariner booklet, numbered green swing-tag, international Rolex warranty card dated March 2013 and Rolex UK service card dated April 2019. It seems that today’s market increasingly appreciates the proportions and value of this generation of Rolex sports models. We are selling it at a significant premium to the list price of the fatter, new equivalent which is now £7,700 — if only you could find one.

The dial is of a style slightly older than the watch and was probably fitted retrospectively at client request. This 1988 model comes with later Rolex boxes, correct Day-Date booklet (itself now increasingly valuable!), our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. It is in very good condition but we do note that the glass is a generic replacement, not by Rolex. The 18238 with its 3155 calibre movement was the first model to feature the double quick-set feature for easy, independent alteration of the Day and Date. The NEW equivalent is now £36,900 !
