Magnificent, all-original gold and diamond Rolex! 34mm Rolex Datejust model 81338 on original “chevron” diamond-set 74858 bracelet with double-diamond bezel and full pavé diamond / black enamel roman numeral dial. This stunning piece is in brilliant condition (well, it’s probably not a watch for every day wear!) and it even has the case-back sticker still in place. Comes with HUGE Rolex presentation / jewellery box set, Datejust booklet, red chronometer swing-tag and original UK papers dated August 2006. From our archived records we have found this exact specification offered in the Rolex UK October 2008 price list (shortly before it appears to have been discontinued) at £45,510 …but prices for new watches have risen enormously since then. Please note that this style of bracelet correctly has plain gold links (without diamonds) on the clasp side, where any diamond setting would be more exposed to wear and damage.

This watch began its life with a fluted, white metal bezel but at some point this has been swapped for the plain steel, engine-turned bezel from a contemporary 69240 model.     • Stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss model 116400 with bright white dial / orange indices and “lightning” seconds hand on Oyster 72400 bracelet. Complete with boxes, Milgauss booklet, red swing-tag & international warranty card dated May 2011, though the watch was in fact manufactured a couple of years earlier. This is an outstanding example! The original Milgauss was the model 6541 introduced back in 1956; subsequent models remained in production until 1988, albeit for the most part as the next-generation 1019 variant. It was designed as an especially anti-magnetic model for nuclear scientists near Rolex HQ in Switzerland but has since won desirability in its own right. This watch is one of the newer versions launched at Basel in 2007. Many clients love the Milgauss simply for being such a big watch, with its lovely, clear dial options and funky colour accents. The NEW RRP is now £5,150.
