31mm / mid-size Rolex Datejust model 178241 in steel and rose metal on Oyster 72161 bracelet. The original “chocolate” / roman numeral dial with diamond detail in the “VI” beautifully complements the warm colour of the rose metal. Dating from around 2011, this watch comes with Rolex boxes, Datejust booklet and undated Rolex warranty card from Aurum Group (Goldsmiths etc). The NEW equivalent is now £11,000 ! Available from Miltons of Chester, under the famous clock.

    • Lady’s stainless steel Oyster Perpetual DATE model 69174 from the late 1980s, on Jubilee 62510 bracelet. This watch began its life with a fluted, white metal bezel but at some point this has been swapped for the plain steel, engine-turned bezel from a contemporary 69240 model. Has just had a full movement service and comes with an Oyster booklet, red swing-tag, our own presentation box and warranty card.     • 1999-model bicolour Datejust ref 79173 on Jubilee 62523 bracelet with champagne / baton dial. In very nice condition with Rolex boxes, an Oyster booklet, swing-tag and our own warranty card. Light rubbing from the bracelet has made it hard to read the third character in the alpha-numeric case number ( A2?8xxx ) but we believe it to be a 9. In any event the watch can still be dated to 1999 manufacture. The NEW equivalent is now £5,750 !
