This 963xxxx case number watch was manufactured c.1986 and has a sales receipt from Zales in New Barnet dated November 1987, when it was bought by a former member of the Royal Australian Navy. It comes with original boxes, numbered green swing-tag, green plastic document wallet with corresponding sticker, an Oyster booklet and our own warranty card. This watch has the later dial with white gold surrounds to the indices, exhibiting a flat, slightly greying appearance from age. The NEW equivalent is now £5,700 but these older models have enjoyed very robust demand for many years.

As loyal Rolex devotees we are not great fans of such customised pieces and will not supply such parts for our own watches, but when our pawnbroking departments are left with such pieces they always seem to find buyers quickly.
