In beautiful condition after £631-worth of service work comprising a movement overhaul and new glass, it comes with both boxes, Oyster Perpetual booklet, green chronometer swing-tag, international Rolex warranty card dated June 2016 and one of the very latest Rolex “World Service” cards*. The NEW equivalent is now £5,300 but supply is still struggling to meet demand and many stainless steel Rolex can attract a small premium, as here.

* These latest service cards first appeared in late 2023. They bear no visible details of the watch or service, but instead a QR code that leads to an on-line demonstration of how to access the associated watch’s service details. By holding an enabled smart-phone next to the card, an NFC link is provided which brings up the watch’s unique details and in this instance confirms that it has a service warranty which runs until August 2026.

Dating from around 1998, it is in lovely condition with only moderate wear to bezel and glass. There is no longer a direct NEW equivalent model, but even a smaller 31mm Datejust now has an RRP of £6,100 !
