Stainless steel Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000 model 116600 with black dial and ceramic bezel insert on Oyster Glidelock 97400 bracelet. Comes with both boxes, Sea-Dweller booklet, both swing-tags and UK warranty card from Parkhouse the Jeweller in Southampton dated August 2014. Rolex fans were delighted when the company re-introduced an SD4000 into the range, after the bulk of the DeepSea 116660 version had put off so many ordinary buyers. The more practical size of this model, the lack of a sometimes-annoying cyclops magnifying lens as found on the Date Submariners and the full, 60-minute marked bezel (a nod to Rolex’s military past) were instant hits. This model is currently exceptionally popular, having been released only in 2013 and yet already nicknamed the Bruiser or Batman GMT by fans because of its distinctive bezel colours. This one is in beautiful condition and comes with original boxes, GMT-Master II booklet, numbered green swing-tag, red chronometer tag and UK warranty card dated October 2014. The NEW RRP of £5,950 is slightly higher than that of the all-black ceramic version, whose bezel is not quite so demanding to manufacture.
