Stainless steel 40mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss model 116400 with black / index baton dial having orange detail and “lightning” seconds hand, on Oyster 72400 bracelet. Comes with both boxes, Milgauss booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. In very nice condition, but we do note superficial wear to the glass. Its “M28xxxx” case number suggests it is from around 2008. The original Milgauss was the model 6541 introduced back in 1956; subsequent models remained in production until 1988, albeit for the most part in the form of the next-generation 1019 variant. It was designed as an especially anti-magnetic model for nuclear scientists near Rolex HQ in Switzerland, but with time became a rare and desirable line. This watch is one of the newer models launched at Basel in 2007, but as another discontinued version it now has a market all of its own. Many clients admire the Milgauss simply for being such a big watch, with its lovely, clear dial options and funky colour accents. Available from Miltons of Church Street, Liverpool city centre.
