Expected in stock very soon at Miltons of St.John’s Centre, Liverpool : Stainless steel Rolex Date Submariner 16610 with black bezel insert and “SWISS-T<25” dial on Oyster Fliplock 93150 bracelet. This 1996 model comes with Rolex 16610 boxes, YOUR ROLEX OYSTER booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. It is in very pleasing condition, but we do note moderate signs of age / wear to the bezel and that the glass fitted is generic, not by Rolex — both factors reflected in this keen price. The larger, NEW equivalent is now £9,500 (if you can find one….) but the earlier models have remained popular in their own right.

    • Serviced by Rolex in November 2017 – a very desirable “Kermit” 16610 LV from 2006 with boxes, tags, UK papers and more! Stainless steel Rolex Date Submariner model 16610 T / LV with Mark IV maxi dial and green “slim 4” / “thin 4” bezel insert. This is a D6xxxxx case-number watch in excellent condition with both boxes in delivery sleeve, Submariner booklet, both swing-tags (the green one’s sticker specifying that it is a 16610LV), delivery bezel protector, original UK papers dated April 2006 and a Rolex UK service card dated November 2017, again specifying that it is a 16610LV. The original owner paid £475 for a full service through a main agent at that time. Correctly, this version has a plain, un-numbered inner rehaut. It is in excellent condition with perfect glass, excellent bracelet and only the very lightest of marks on the bezel insert. There is a fatter, new equivalent model made by Rolex, though usually not available without a huge premium now. The older models have been increasingly sought after since they were discontinued some years ago and have proved enduringly collectible.
