Fresh from Rolex service : 18ct gold Rolex Daytona – in beautiful condition ! 18ct yellow gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona model 116518 with stunning black / diamond dot dial and genuine Rolex black alligator strap on original 18ct deployant clasp. This watch has a random case number which means it cannot be older than 2010, although its excellent condition suggests it may be considerably more recent. These models are just as likely to be worn by gents or ladies now. Comes with large Rolex boxes, Cosmograph Daytona booklet, our own warranty card, a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them and one of the latest Rolex World Service cards*. It had a full movement overhaul, refurbishment and a new push-button fitted at a cost of £1,284.80. The NEW equivalent (which now has a black ceramic bezel and Oysterflex strap) is now £37,350 but availability of any similar specification Daytona remains poor, which is reflected in pre-owned market prices. The current strap can be adjusted in the clasp to fit anything from an average to a large man’s wrist, but if a different length is required we may have to order one, on an exchange basis. We would anticipate doing this at no additional cost, but there may be some weeks’ wait for such a strap to arrive from Rolex, if we do not have it in stock.

* These latest Rolex service cards first appeared in late 2023. They bear no visible details of the watch or service, but instead a QR code that leads to an on-line demonstration of how to access the associated watch’s service details. By holding an enabled smart-phone next to the card, an NFC link is provided which brings up the watch’s unique details and in this instance confirms that it has a Rolex service warranty which runs until November 2028.
