Bicolour Rolex Datejust model 79173 on Jubilee 62523 bracelet with Rolex boxes, Oyster booklet and our own warranty card. This watch dates from the millennium and has at some later time been fitted with a custom-made champagne / diamond dot dial, NOT made by Rolex. As loyal devotees of the Rolex brand we are not great fans of customised pieces and will not supply such parts on customer request, but when our secondhand stock departments are left with one that is already fitted there always seems to be a queue of buyers!

    • Bicolour Datejust model 6827 (3) from approx 1980 with smart blue / baton dial on Jubilee 62523 bracelet. This is one of the older models with no quick-set date-change feature and the softer, acrylic glass, which we advise should no longer be considered water-resistant. This is a very pleasing watch to look at but there are some signs of its thirty or more years of wear, reflected in this keen price. Has a later box and our own warranty card. The NEW equivalent, much improved as it is, now costs £6,400!

    • 1999-model bicolour Datejust ref 79173 on Jubilee 62523 bracelet with champagne / baton dial. In very nice condition with Rolex boxes, an Oyster booklet, swing-tag and our own warranty card. Light rubbing from the bracelet has made it hard to read the third character in the alpha-numeric case number ( A2?8xxx ) but we believe it to be a 9. In any event the watch can still be dated to 1999 manufacture. The NEW equivalent is now £5,750 !
