31mm / mid-size bicolour Rolex Datejust model 68273 from the first half of the 1990s, with champagne / diamond dot dial on Jubilee 62523 bracelet. Comes with later Rolex box, YOUR ROLEX OYSTER booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. We struggle to find enough of these mid-size models to meet demand and do not expect this one to stay in stock for long ! In very pleasing condition but priced to reflect signs of general age / wear and specific distortion to some of the bracelet links. The NEW equivalent is now £12,400 !  RRP1225

    We have a surplus of this type of Rolex boxes, which were supplied with new Rolex watches from around 2004-2014.

    SMALL and MEDIUM sizes are available, usually referred to as ref 30.00.xx, 39137.xx or “Samoa” and ref 31.00.xx, 39139.xx or “Moorea” respectively.

    Boxes from c.2004-2010 came with a solid, oval watch cushion that was not well suited to ladies’ watches with short bracelets.

    Boxes from c.2010-2014 came with a squashy “E”-shape cushion that would hold most watches comfortably.

    Each box or set will be priced individually to reflect condition, completeness etc and sold as it is.

    We will not swap parts from one box or set to another.

    Rolex main agents often grabbed the first box that came to hand when selling a watch, but steel watches were commonly intended to come in smaller boxes / bicolour watches in medium.

    • 31mm / mid-size  Rolex Oyster Perpetual (non-date) model 177234 in steel and white metal with smart black / PALE BLUE index baton / 3-6-9 dial on Oyster 70160 bracelet. In excellent condition, it comes with Rolex boxes, Oyster Perpetual booklet and UK warranty card from Fraser Hart dated July 2014. The new equivalent with a much cheaper, stainless steel bezel (white metal no longer being offered) now has an RRP of £4,950 — but supply is still not meeting demand and residual prices remain very strong.
