Stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust model 1603 from the mid-1970s with silver / fat-baton dial and Jubilee 6251 folded link bracelet. Because of its age, we offer it with only a ONE year warranty and ask you to note : (1) we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant (2) this model correctly has no “quick-set” facility for changing the date at the end of a short month, so the wearer must turn the hands through 24 hours to advance the date (3) the bracelet and dial both show significant signs of age and wear (4) while running well, there is slightly more noise from the movement rotor than you might expect from a modern watch. Ask one of our Rolex-trained specialists, Phil or Paul, to discuss this watch with you. This model is currently exceptionally popular, having been released only in 2013 and yet already nicknamed the Bruiser or Batman GMT by fans because of its distinctive bezel colours.     • Stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss model 116400 with bright white dial / orange indices and “lightning” seconds hand on Oyster 72400 bracelet. Complete with boxes, Milgauss booklet, red swing-tag & international warranty card dated May 2011, though the watch was in fact manufactured a couple of years earlier. This is an outstanding example! The original Milgauss was the model 6541 introduced back in 1956; subsequent models remained in production until 1988, albeit for the most part as the next-generation 1019 variant. It was designed as an especially anti-magnetic model for nuclear scientists near Rolex HQ in Switzerland but has since won desirability in its own right. This watch is one of the newer versions launched at Basel in 2007. Many clients love the Milgauss simply for being such a big watch, with its lovely, clear dial options and funky colour accents. The NEW RRP is now £5,150.
