Bicolour Rolex Submariner Date model 16803 with black dial and bezel insert. Its original bracelet presumably having failed some time ago, it is offered now on a generic “NATO”-style black nylon webbing strap. The watch head is sound but the dial and bezel both show signs of age, as might be expected of a mid-1980s watch. We know there are many who will like the pleasantly-mellowed appearance of the matching tritium hands and indices. The 16803 model reference denotes the dependable 3035 calibre movement, whose date is adjusted by turning the winding crown backwards when in the mid-position. Comes with Rolex boxes, a slightly later Oyster booklet and our own warranty card. Would make for an effective and stylish “beater,” a pre-owned watch that one doesn't need to be too precious about wearing.
