Stainless steel Rolex “Polar” Explorer II model 16570 T with white dial. Its original bracelet presumably having failed some time ago, it is offered now on a generic “NATO”-style grey and black nylon webbing strap*. The watch head is sound but the bezel and glass show small signs of wear. Comes with Rolex boxes, Explorer booklet and UK papers from David M. Robinson dated September 2007. This would make for an effective and stylish Rolex “beater” — that is, a pre-owned watch that one doesn’t need to be too precious about wearing.

* This strap is attached on sturdy, generic spring bars which we can remove at no cost if a client wishes to change the strap in due course.

Light rubbing from the bracelet has made it hard to read the third character in the alpha-numeric case number ( A2?8xxx ) but we believe it to be a 9. In any event the watch can still be dated to 1999 manufacture. The NEW equivalent is now £5,750 !
