32mm Cartier Chronoscaph 21 quartz, case reference 2996 with cream / silver dial. Shows moderate signs of age and general wear, but most noticeable is the hybrid steel / resin strap which is dull and slightly grey from wear, despite cleaning. Our keen price reflects the condition (and in case you are wondering, a replacement strap is surprisingly expensive). Comes with a must de Cartier box, instruction booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. As a chronograph with simple push-pieces (the stopwatch buttons), we recommend that it should not be considered water-resistant.

    • Bicolour Datejust model 6827 (3) from approx 1980 with smart blue / baton dial on Jubilee 62523 bracelet. This is one of the older models with no quick-set date-change feature and the softer, acrylic glass, which we advise should no longer be considered water-resistant. This is a very pleasing watch to look at but there are some signs of its thirty or more years of wear, reflected in this keen price. Has a later box and our own warranty card. The NEW equivalent, much improved as it is, now costs £6,400!
