As with the Daytona, it seems that a Rolex with complicated functions can prove exceptionally popular. This bicolour model was launched only in 2017 and remains current. We believe that this particular watch is from 2018. Comes with both Rolex boxes, Sky-Dweller booklet and Rolex UK service card dated August 2022 when it had a full movement overhaul and new glass fitted. We are selling it at a marginal premium to the new list price. Ask for our Rolex-trained specialists Phil or Paul to discuss this watch with you. This is a complicated watch, but as well as having that precious instruction booklet (phew!) its new owner may also refer to the online user guide and video available on Rolex’s own website.     • In outstanding condition, still with green delivery sticker on case-back! 36mm Rolex Day-Date model 18238 in 18ct yellow gold on President 8385 bracelet with sparkling silver / diamond dot dial in the older style (around this time, Rolex moved to a heavier style of diamond setting). This watch comes with large “luggage-style” Rolex box, correct Day-Date booklet (itself now increasingly valuable!) and original UK papers from Boodle & Dunthorne dated February 1995. The 18238 with its 3155 calibre movement was the first model to feature the double quick-set feature for easy, independent alteration of the Day and Date. The NEW equivalent is now £31,150!

    • Stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King-Date Precision model 5700 with silver / baton dial on Oyster 78350 bracelet. This somewhat collectible model with 738xxxx case number dates from around 1982, which is also consistent with its “G” clasp code. To change the date on this 1520-calibre model, one simply advances the main hands forwards or backwards past midnight. In fine condition for its age, but please note that (1) the dial shows some minor marks and other signs of age, (2) we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant and (3) time-keeping may-not be as accurate as a modern, chronometer-rated Rolex. Offered with our own presentation box, warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them.
