Classic manual-wind Rolex Oyster from the late 1960s! Stainless steel Rolex Oyster Precision model 6426 with popular matt black / baton dial. This circa-1967 watch appears to have been up-graded with a new Oyster 78350 bracelet fitted around 1993, which would be consistent with a Rolex UK service denoted inside the case-back. It is in very pleasing condition, showing few signs of its age. The Oyster Precision is an entry-level model and it should be noted that (1) it needs to be manually wound each day and (2) we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant. Comes with our own presentation box, warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. Ask for one of our Rolex-trained specialists Phil or Paul to speak with you about older Rolexes, to show you how to unscrew the crown, set the time, wind it manually and explain why a manual-wind model will rarely be as accurate as an automatic.
