In very good condition with large, blue “Jubilee” combined Rolex watch & jewellery case, Datejust booklet, numbered green swing-tag and UK papers from David M. Robinson in Liverpool dated March 2005. This is a dress watch and should be worn with appropriate care. The new equivalent — even with a plain dial — is now £32,400 !

    • 26mm bicolour Rolex Datejust model 69173 with unusual white / diamond dot dial with small roman numerals, on Jubilee 62523 bracelet. This 1987 model comes with Rolex 69173 boxes, Your Rolex Oyster booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The nearest NEW equivalent is now £10,950! This watch is priced very reasonably to reflect a number of factors : (1) the fluted bezel and bracelet both show signs of wear, such that we now recommend this watch be kept for dress wear only, (2) under magnification, it can be seen that the dial paint is deteriorating and (3) the case and model numbers are both substantially worn *

    * Ladies’ Rolex Datejusts of this generation are often now found with one or more of the numerals in the case number obscured by bracelet wear. This was caused by the end-links rubbing constantly against the case. In this instance the third and fifth digits of the unique case number are obscured by bracelet wear, but luckily we were able to confirm the correct case number of the watch from its service history through a Rolex main agent and Rolex UK.

    • Rare and unusual white gold “stealth wealth” Rolex! 34mm / mid-size Rolex Datejust Pearlmaster in 18ct white gold, model 81209 on Oyster II 72849 bracelet and striking black Jubilee / diamond dot dial. This watch dates from around the millennium but is in excellent condition, having spent much of its life as a “safe queen.” It comes with later, large Rolex boxes, Datejust booklet, red swing-tag, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The NEW RRP with a diamond dial was £24,650 when this rare model was last specified in Rolex UK’s 2016 price list — and prices generally have increased several times since then!
