Discontinued model, unworn since Rolex overhaul in 2022 and still in Rolex service stickers ! 36mm steel & rose metal Rolex Datejust Turn-o-Graph model 116261 with silver / baton dial on Jubilee 63201 bracelet. Comes with Rolex boxes, Datejust booklet, red swing-tag, international Rolex papers dated June 2005 and a Rolex UK service card dated November 2022. In excellent condition as one might expect after Rolex service, showing only modest wear to the bracelet and the bezel detail. A NEW equivalent last appeared in the November 2016 Rolex UK price list at £8,450 . . . and prices have generally risen since then, with the new RRP of the closest equivalent Datejust now £11,500 !  Please note that while it does feature a time-lapse bezel, the Turn-o-Graph is still essentially a dress watch. For more robust purposes we would recommend one of the Rolex Professional range, perhaps a Submariner.

    • Collectible “box & papers” set from 1987 ! 34mm stainless steel Oyster Perpetual DATE model 15000 with champagne / baton dial on Jubilee 62510 bracelet. This watch is in very nice condition for its age and contains the 3035 calibre movement which introduced the quick-set date-change feature, but it is an acrylic glass model and we no longer recommend that such watches be considered water-resistant. While the gold-coloured dial seems unusual on a steel watch, this was an option for a number of years and lends an appealing “vintage” feel to it. Comes with its original 15000 box-set, “YOUR ROLEX OYSTER” booklet with 1985 print-code, plastic document wallet with numbered sticker and COSC translation leaflet, numbered green tag and original, punched Rolex papers from Bahrain dated June 1987, which even bear the original “15000” case-back sticker. The bracelet clasp-code, “K8”, suggests that the Jubilee bracelet, which was more expensive and rarer than the Oyster on this model, is also original to the watch. Rolex no longer make a direct NEW equivalent, but a similar Datejust 31 is now £6,300. Of course, the vintage appeal of such a watch creates a market in its own right.     • In outstanding condition, still with green delivery sticker on case-back ! 34mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual non-date model 14238 in 18ct yellow gold with bright white / Roman numeral dial on riveted link Oyster 7205A bracelet. It comes with beautiful Rolex box set, YOUR ROLEX OYSTER booklet and international Rolex papers dated February 2000. This watch has spent much of its life unworn in a safe, but we are always mindful that this style of bracelet does not cope well with hard wear, so recommend that it is looked after appropriately as the striking dress watch it is.
