Stainless steel mid-size Rolex Datejust model 78240 on Oyster 78350 bracelet with an unusual coppery-pink / concentric circles / arabic numeral dial more commonly seen on later models. This watch is in lovely condition and comes with Rolex boxes, Datejust booklet, numbered green swing-tag and UK papers from David M. Robinson dated March 2004. The NEW equivalent is now £4,600! In very good condition, it comes with Breitling boxes, Aerospace instruction booklet, numbered chronometer certificate, “certificat de serie limitee,” UK warranty booklet from Andrew Michael’s Jewellers in Newark dated October 2013, numbered swing-tag and delivery bezel protector. This limited run celebrates the RAF’s famous 7 Squadron, whose activities you read about here and here. The star motif on the dial, unique to this special edition, reflects the representation of the constellation Ursa Major on their regimental badge.
