Rolex fans like the watch team here at Miltons were delighted when Rolex re-introduced an SD4000 into the range, after the bulk of the “Teletubby” DeepSea 116660 had put off so many ordinary buyers. The slightly smaller size of this model, the lack of a sometimes-annoying cyclops magnifying lens as found on the Date Submariners and the full, 60-minute marked bezel (a nod to Rolex’s military past) were instant hits. The NEW RRP has just increased to £7,600 and it is worth noting the pressure facing UK main agents not to discount such models at all these days!
