Like most of the professional series, the Explorer can be hard to source in the UK at the moment, but this watch has been priced keenly to reflect very slight wear to the glass.     • 1999-model bicolour Datejust ref 79173 on Jubilee 62523 bracelet with champagne / baton dial. In very nice condition with Rolex boxes, an Oyster booklet, swing-tag and our own warranty card. Light rubbing from the bracelet has made it hard to read the third character in the alpha-numeric case number ( A2?8xxx ) but we believe it to be a 9. In any event the watch can still be dated to 1999 manufacture. The NEW equivalent is now £5,750 !

    • Late, pre-ceramic model – rarely seen with a random case number and engraved rehaut like this! Stainless steel Rolex Date Submariner model 16610 T with black dial and bezel insert on Oyster Fliplock 93250 bracelet. In very good condition, it comes with original Rolex boxes, Submariner booklet, numbered green tag, UK warranty card from Pyke & Sons in Birkenhead dated May 2010 and a Rolex UK service card dated May 2017, when it appears to have enjoyed £505 of work carried out through Mappin & Webb in Chester. The larger, NEW equivalent is now £7,300 (if you can find one!), but these earlier models have proved increasingly popular in their own right.
