Stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust model 1603 from the mid-1970s with silver / fat-baton dial and Jubilee 6251 folded link bracelet. Because of its age, we offer it with only a ONE year warranty and ask you to note : (1) we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant (2) this model correctly has no “quick-set” facility for changing the date at the end of a short month, so the wearer must turn the hands through 24 hours to advance the date (3) the bracelet and dial both show significant signs of age and wear (4) while running well, there is slightly more noise from the movement rotor than you might expect from a modern watch. Ask one of our Rolex-trained specialists, Phil or Paul, to discuss this watch with you. This watch began its life with a fluted, white metal bezel but at some point this has been swapped for the plain steel, engine-turned bezel from a contemporary 69240 model. Has just had a full movement service and comes with an Oyster booklet, red swing-tag, our own presentation box and warranty card. The NEW equivalent is now £4,150 but this watch has been priced very keenly to reflect its age and condition.
