Stainless steel Rolex GMT-Master II model 16710 with original black “SWISS – T < 25” dial on Oyster 78360 bracelet. The 16710 was available with different bezel options but this one has just been fitted with a “new old stock” version of its signature red / black insert, known as the “Coke” bezel by collectors. Having a case number in the S4xxxxx range, this will be a circa 1994 watch. At that time the plain Oyster bracelet was a standard option and the “S10” clasp code on this one denotes October 1994 manufacture, indicating that it is original to the watch. Showing a few signs of its age, it comes with its original GMT-Master booklet and numbered green swing-tag, Rolex boxes, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The cheapest NEW equivalent is now £7,150 but these earlier models have increasingly attracted a following of their own.
