A bit of colourful Rolex fun! Bicolour Rolex Oyster Perpetual DATE model 1500 / 3 with blue / baton dial and a generic blue lizard strap (not by Rolex). This started as a 1970s model 1505 / 3 but a new, replacement “44xxxxx” mid-case and dial was provided by Rolex themselves within the last 20 years. These early models did not have a “quick-set” facility for changing the date at the end of a short month, so the hands have to be turned forward 24 hours to advance it when needed. Please note that (1) the dial and hands show minor signs of age / wear and (2) we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant. Comes with our own presentation box and warranty card.
