March 2017 UK watch, available today with BOTH swing-tags and NO silly nonsense about the warranty card being withheld*! Stainless steel Rolex Date Submariner model 116610LV with green dial and ceramic bezel insert. Barely worn (delivery stickers remain on the clasp), it comes with Rolex boxes, Submariner booklet, both swing-tags, UK warranty card from Aurum Group (Goldsmiths etc) dated March 2017 and even the delivery bezel protector. The NEW RRP is now £6,950 but this is one of several steel sports models that can be extremely hard to find in the UK, so we are selling it at a significant premium to the list price. Clearly if you can find one at RRP then you should buy it – we wish we could!

* While their clients have to wait months or years for certain models in the stainless steel Professional series of watches, some Rolex main agents are now stripping new watches of delivery stickers, keeping the numbered swing-tag and refusing to supply the warranty card until a year or more after sale. This is an attempt to hinder the premium resale or “grey market” in the watches which their very lack of supply causes.

Stainless steel Rolex Date Submariner model 16610 T with black dial and bezel insert on Oyster Fliplock 93250 bracelet. In very good condition, it comes with original Rolex boxes, Submariner booklet, numbered green tag, UK warranty card from Pyke & Sons in Birkenhead dated May 2010 and a Rolex UK service card dated May 2017, when it appears to have enjoyed £505 of work carried out through Mappin & Webb in Chester. The larger, NEW equivalent is now £7,300 (if you can find one!), but these earlier models have proved increasingly popular in their own right.
