Stainless steel Rolex Date Submariner model 16610 with black dial and bezel insert on Oyster Fliplock 93250 bracelet. This Y31xxxx case number watch is one of the very last “pin-hole” lug examples, which were correctly supplied with the upgraded, solid end-link bracelet. It comes with original Rolex box set, Submariner booklet and UK papers from David M. Robinson in Manchester dated February 2003. In lovely condition, it has just had a new bezel insert fitted. The larger, NEW equivalent is now £7,150 (if you can find one!), but these earlier models have proved increasingly popular in their own right.

The star motif on the dial, unique to this special edition, reflects the representation of the constellation Ursa Major on their regimental badge.
