Stainless steel Rolex Date Submariner model 16610  LV with maxi dial and green bezel insert. This is an “M”-series watch with the engraved inner rehaut, in generally excellent condition with both boxes, Submariner booklet, numbered green swing-tag and the original UK warranty card from David M. Robinson dated May 2008, demonstrating beyond doubt that it left the factory as an LV. It has the lighter green bezel insert we would expect (closed 5 / pointed 4) which is in superb order…..in fact, all we can find to comment on with this watch is a negligible black mark at the edge of the glass near 4 o'clock. This is a discontinued model for specialist buyers; our Rolex-trained colleagues Phil or Paul can advise.

Stainless steel Rolex Date Submariner model 16610 T with black dial and bezel insert on Oyster Fliplock 93250 bracelet. In very good condition, it comes with original Rolex boxes, Submariner booklet, numbered green tag, UK warranty card from Pyke & Sons in Birkenhead dated May 2010 and a Rolex UK service card dated May 2017, when it appears to have enjoyed £505 of work carried out through Mappin & Webb in Chester. The larger, NEW equivalent is now £7,300 (if you can find one!), but these earlier models have proved increasingly popular in their own right.     • Lady’s stainless steel Oyster Perpetual DATE model 69174 from the late 1980s, on Jubilee 62510 bracelet. This watch began its life with a fluted, white metal bezel but at some point this has been swapped for the plain steel, engine-turned bezel from a contemporary 69240 model. Has just had a full movement service and comes with an Oyster booklet, red swing-tag, our own presentation box and warranty card. The NEW equivalent is now £4,150 but this watch has been priced very keenly to reflect its age and condition.
