36mm Rolex Day-Date model 18238 in 18ct yellow gold with sparkling silver / diamond dot dial on President bracelet. In very pleasing condition, this circa 1990 model * comes with correct Day-Date booklet, modern Rolex boxes, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The 18238 with its 3155 calibre movement was the first model to feature the “double quick-set” feature for easy, independent alteration of the Day and Date. * We note that the date-code on the clasp indicates that this part is from around 1980 while the “53” end-links would more commonly be found on bracelets for 1803 model Day-Dates, so we believe the bracelet has been swapped from an earlier watch and is possibly restored, which is reflected in the price. The NEW equivalent is now £36,900 !
