Contrary to the widely-held belief of a million wine-bar experts, for over twenty years Rolex DID make a quartz Oyster whose second hand TICKS rather than sweeps, as one might otherwise rightly expect of their mechanical watches. These Oysterquartz models are quite rare and their angular looks are not to everyone’s taste, but they have a growing following and this one is in wonderful condition.
