Lady's bicolour Rolex Datejust model 6917 (3) on Jubilee 62523 bracelet with champagne / baton dial. This is a 1982 model with the Rolex 2035 calibre movement and as such does not have the “quick-set” feature, which would allow easier correction of the date at the end of a short month. Unusually, it has been fitted with a synthetic sapphire glass that is not by Rolex, to update the older and more easily marked acrylic glass. We don't as a rule approve of such work, but this appears to have been very well executed, it modernises the watch and tests well for water-resistancy. Coming with our own presentation box and warranty card, it shows small signs of its age but offers great value for a bicolour model.
