Bicolour Rolex Date Submariner model 16613 on Oyster Fliplock 93253 bracelet with the champagne / sapphire and diamond “Serti” dial. In lovely condition with Rolex boxes, Submariner booklet and USA papers dated August 2001. Rolex UK no longer list a bicolour model with a gem-set dial, but fitting one from the all-18ct model would bring the nearest new equivalent price to £12,400!

    • Lady’s stainless steel Oyster Perpetual DATE model 69174 from the late 1980s, on Jubilee 62510 bracelet. This watch began its life with a fluted, white metal bezel but at some point this has been swapped for the plain steel, engine-turned bezel from a contemporary 69240 model. Has just had a full movement service and comes with an Oyster booklet, red swing-tag, our own presentation box and warranty card. The NEW equivalent is now £4,150 but this watch has been priced very keenly to reflect its age and condition.

    • Bicolour Datejust model 6827 (3) from approx 1980 with smart blue / baton dial on Jubilee 62523 bracelet. This is one of the older models with no quick-set date-change feature and the softer, acrylic glass, which we advise should no longer be considered water-resistant. This is a very pleasing watch to look at but there are some signs of its thirty or more years of wear, reflected in this keen price. Has a later box and our own warranty card. The NEW equivalent, much improved as it is, now costs £6,400!
