Stainless steel Rolex “Polar” Explorer II model 16570 T with white dial. Its original bracelet presumably having failed some time ago, it is offered now on a generic “NATO”-style grey and black nylon webbing strap*. The watch head is sound but the bezel and glass show small signs of wear. Comes with Rolex boxes, Explorer booklet and UK papers from David M. Robinson dated September 2007. This would make for an effective and stylish Rolex “beater” — that is, a pre-owned watch that one doesn’t need to be too precious about wearing.

* This strap is attached on sturdy, generic spring bars which we can remove at no cost if a client wishes to change the strap in due course.

This model is currently exceptionally popular, having been released only in 2013 and yet already nicknamed the Bruiser or Batman GMT by fans because of its distinctive bezel colours. This one is in beautiful condition and comes with original boxes, GMT-Master II booklet, numbered green swing-tag, red chronometer tag and UK warranty card dated October 2014. The NEW RRP of £5,950 is slightly higher than that of the all-black ceramic version, whose bezel is not quite so demanding to manufacture.
