36mm bicolour Rolex Datejust model 16013 with classic champagne / baton dial on Jubilee 62523 bracelet. Although the bracelet does show moderate wear, this mid-1980s model with 3035 calibre movement is in surprisingly nice condition for its age. It has been fitted with a replacement acrylic glass that is not by Rolex. It comes with original 16013 box set, Datejust booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register to confirm that we checked it with them. It appears that this watch was sold in February 1987 by Laing the Jeweller in Edinburgh, but unfortunately (as was surprisingly common) that jeweller gave the wrong COSC certificate out with it, which has now been retained to avoid confusion. Please note that we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant. The new equivalent is now £9,350!

    • Bicolour Datejust model 6827 (3) from approx 1980 with smart blue / baton dial on Jubilee 62523 bracelet. This is one of the older models with no quick-set date-change feature and the softer, acrylic glass, which we advise should no longer be considered water-resistant. This is a very pleasing watch to look at but there are some signs of its thirty or more years of wear, reflected in this keen price. Has a later box and our own warranty card. The NEW equivalent, much improved as it is, now costs £6,400!
