  • July 2021 watch in superb condition….and now a discontinued model ! 44mm stainless steel and rose metal Rolex Yachtmaster II model 116681M with white dial and blue ceramic bezel on Oysterlock 78211 bracelet. This 4161 calibre model has both boxes, Yachtmaster II booklet, both swing-tags and international Rolex warranty card dated July 2021. It is the revised model with triangle at 12 and “Mercedes” hands, rather than the plainer dial and blue hands of earlier examples. This is a complicated watch but happily it retains the valuable instruction booklet. The NEW RRP in early 2024 was £21,750 but availability of most professional models had been poor over recent years and the model has now been discontinued, which commonly provokes collector interest.   • Lady’s 29mm Rolex Yachtmaster model 169628 in 18ct yellow gold on Oysterlock 78738 bracelet with bright white dial. In excellent condition, it has Rolex boxes, Yachtmaster booklet and original papers from the famous jeweller Bucherer in Switzerland. These papers are dated February 2007, but the watch’s P68xxxx case number suggests it is from around 2001. It had probably been in stock at Bucherer for some years, as the lady’s Yachtmaster was at that time something of a slow seller. The NEW RRP was £18,000 when such a model was last specified in Rolex UK’s 2016 price list — and prices generally have increased several times since then! Even a standard gold Lady Datejust now has a new price of £23,700.

This watch comes with the desirable slate-grey dial with subtle, pale blue YACHTMASTER text and seconds hand. In very pleasing condition, it comes with Rolex boxes, Yachtmaster booklet, green swing-tag and UK warranty card from Aurum Group (Goldsmiths etc) dated December 2016. Lack of supply across the entire steel “Professional” Rolex series will mean that it should endure as a highly desirable piece. The NEW equivalent is now £10,600 but both versions remain very desirable, which is reflected in the price. Clearly if you can find a new one at RRP then you might wish to buy it !   • Lady’s 29mm Rolex Yachtmaster in Rolesium: model 169622 on Oysterlock 78730 bracelet with silver-coloured dial. This is an excellent example of the unusual “sports Rolex” for ladies, showing negligible signs of wear. Comes with Rolex 169622 box set, Yachtmaster booklet and UK papers from Owen & Robinson in Leeds dated April 2004. The last NEW RRP shown for this model was £7,050 — but that was about seven years ago and new prices generally have increased substantially since then.

  • Gent’s genuine Rolex wallet in green leather with reference 0068.08.34 printed in discrete gold-coloured foil inside one of the pockets. This is a slim, folding wallet of approx 144mm x  105mm when closed. Has reinforced corners and Rolex coronet branding to front. These wallets were supplied with gents’ and professional / sports models around the millennium. English bank notes did not fit them at the time and so many were never used, but the latest generation of £5 and £10 notes and credit cards do now fit as illustrated. It is not suitable for coins, or £20 / £50 notes. We have a small stock of these wallets available at both our Chester and Liverpool (St. John’s) stores.   • GENUINE ROLEX service / storage / travel pouch with folding press-stud flap and simple green watch-holder insert. Each is approx 12cm x 6.5cm when closed and is suitable for holding a single example of most models in the Rolex range. For a number of years these green pouches were provided by the service division of Rolex UK when they returned a watch to its owner. Many owners now use them as smart travel or storage pouches. They are pre-owned, but many have simply been in our stores since they came with a watch from Rolex. The price quoted is for a single pouch and we anticipate having a small number available from which clients may choose.   • Genuine Rolex calendar cards available, from 1995 to 2008 !

    These credit-card sized calendar cards were supplied with new Rolex watches for many years.  Each card covers a two-year period, i.e. 1995-1996, 1996-1997 etc. Miltons have acquired a limited stock of excellent examples priced from £19 depending on stock, rarity and condition of the specific card required.

  • SPARE ROLEX BOXES for sale !     Most between £75 and £120 . . .

    We have a surplus of this type of Rolex boxes, which were supplied with new Rolex watches from around 2004-2014.

    SMALL and MEDIUM sizes are available, usually referred to as ref 30.00.xx, 39137.xx or “Samoa” and ref 31.00.xx, 39139.xx or “Moorea” respectively.

    Boxes from c.2004-2010 came with a solid, oval watch cushion that was not well suited to ladies’ watches with short bracelets.

    Boxes from c.2010-2014 came with a squashy “E”-shape cushion that would hold most watches comfortably.

    Each box or set will be priced individually to reflect condition, completeness etc and sold as it is.

    We will not swap parts from one box or set to another.

    Rolex main agents often grabbed the first box that came to hand when selling a watch, but steel watches were commonly intended to come in smaller boxes / bicolour watches in medium.
