Comes with its original boxes, numbered green swing-tag, hand-written Rolex papers from Kuwait dated June 1983 and our own warranty card. Unusually, it has been fitted with a synthetic sapphire glass that is not by Rolex, to update the older and more easily marked acrylic glass. We don’t as a rule approve of such work, but this appears to have been very well executed, it modernises the watch and tests well for water-resistance. The watch shows some signs of its age, most notably to the bracelet, but for a buyer who will wear it sensibly offers great value – especially with its boxes and papers. Please note: this early 1980s watch comes correctly with the Rolex 203x calibre movement and as such does not have the “quick-set” feature, which would allow easier correction of the date at the end of a short month; instead one must simply advance or reverse the hands 24 hours to change the date.

£2,699 Stock number: 50-81-034Gent’s stainless steel 41mm Omega Seamaster Professional 300m co-axial automatic bracelet watch, model 212.30.41.20.01.003 with black dial and ceramic bezel insert. This beautiful example comes with impressive box set, instruction book, matching Omega cards from Goldsmiths dated July 2019 and the original Omega model specification sheet. It is in excellent condition, having spent much of its short life in our pawnbroking safes. The lovely box still comes with its white outer carton, but the fold-down flap to the latter has (as often) suffered from wear and is held in place with sticky tape.

This somewhat collectible model dates from around 1974 and its 3756xxx case number suggests manufacture in the same batch as the one illustrated on p361 of Osvaldo Patrizzi's book, “Collecting Rolex Wristwatches.” To change the date on this 1520-calibre model, one simply advances the main hands forwards or backwards past midnight. In fine condition for its age, but please note that (1) the bracelet shows some signs of wear and distortion, (2) we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant and (3) time-keeping may-not be as accurate as a modern, chronometer-rated Rolex. This beautiful example comes with impressive wood-effect box, instruction book, numbered swing-tag, matching Omega cards from Goldsmiths in Liverpool dated January 2019 and the Omega specification sheet. It is in excellent condition, having spent much of its short life in our pawnbroking safes. The lovely box still comes with its white outer carton, but the fold-down flap to the latter has (as often) suffered from wear and is held in place with sticky tape.
