In very good condition, it comes with Breitling boxes, Aerospace instruction booklet, numbered chronometer certificate, “certificat de serie limitee,” UK warranty booklet from Andrew Michael’s Jewellers in Newark dated October 2013, numbered swing-tag and delivery bezel protector. This limited run celebrates the RAF’s famous 7 Squadron, whose activities you read about here and here. The star motif on the dial, unique to this special edition, reflects the representation of the constellation Ursa Major on their regimental badge. This watch comes with original boxes, instruction booklet, card holder with UK warranty cards from Ernest Jones in Leeds dated November 2009, numbered swing-tag, numbered Omega / Swatch Group service card dated March 2019 and a copy of the model’s specification sheet. The watch itself is in lovely condition with very little wear and almost perfect glass. The boxes show some signs of age, especially the red leatherette of the inner. This 1980s model comes with our own presentation boxes, an Oyster booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. Unusually, it has been fitted with a synthetic sapphire glass that is not by Rolex, to update the older and more easily marked acrylic glass. We don’t as a rule approve of such work, but this appears to have been very well executed, it modernises the watch and tests well for water-resistance. The watch shows some signs of its age but offers great value.

It is mostly in pleasing condition, but the glass shows superficial wear and the bezel shows wear and damage, especially near the 12 o'clock marker. In very pleasing condition, now fitted on a new ostrich leather strap and steel pin-buckle that are not by Rolex. This is an entry-level model and it should be noted that (1) it needs to be manually wound each day and (2) we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant. Comes with a Rolex UK service slip from 1988, plain presentation box, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. Please note: such Cartiers are essentially very stylish DRESS watches; the automatic movements inside them are rarely perfect time-keepers and can seem noisy when the self-winding rotor turns. We would normally advise that anything between – 10 to + 15 seconds per day should be expected on these models, even after a service.
