In beautiful condition with original Cellini boxes, Cellini booklet, numbered green swing-tag and UK warranty card dated July 2010. This is a non-automatic mechanical model which therefore requires manual winding daily and cannot be expected to be as accurate as a quartz or self-winding model. As a slim dress watch, it is not water-proof. Please note that the strap and base-metal pin-buckle are generic replacements, not by Rolex. This 1983 model has been fitted with a synthetic sapphire glass that is not by Rolex, to update the older and more easily marked acrylic glass. We don’t as a rule approve of such work, but this appears to have been very well executed, it modernises the watch and tests well for water-resistance. To change the date on this model, one simply turns the hands forwards or backwards 24 hours. It is in lovely condition and comes with our own presentation box, warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The nearest NEW equivalent is now £5,250!

This circa-1969 watch appears to have been up-graded with a new Oyster 78350 bracelet fitted around 2005 and is in very pleasing condition, showing only small signs of its age. The Oysterdate is an entry-level model and it should be noted that (1) it needs to be manually wound each day, (2) in order to change the date one simply turns the main hands forwards or backwards past midnight and (3) we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant. £1,899 Stock number: 82-45-010Lady’s 18ct yellow gold Rolex Cellini quartz model 6621/8 on brown Ostrich leather strap. In very nice condition with original Cellini boxes, Cellini booklet, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. When we bought it, this 1990s watch had UK papers from Boodles dated 1997…..but that certificate was not the one that should have accompanied this watch and had been put with it in error, most likely when first sold. This is a slim, quartz strap watch, not an Oyster model, therefore intended for dress wear and not water-proof. While the strap bears the original, hallmarked 18ct buckle by Rolex, the leather part itself is a generic replacement, not from Rolex. There is also a small chip in the edge of the glass — all factors reflected in the price. The NEW equivalent was last listed with an RRP of £3,600! This circa 1987 model is in very good condition for its age (indeed, the bracelet clasp date code suggests that this was renewed shortly after the millenium) but please note that we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant. It comes with later Rolex boxes, an Oyster booklet and our own warranty card. This model correctly has the 3035 calibre version of the “quick-set” facility for changing the date at the end of a short month, where the user turns the crown backwards in its mid-position to advance the date. Stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King Precision model 5500 with attractive gun-metal grey / baton dial, unusually fitted with a Jubilee 62510 bracelet (whose end-links have been adapted to fit the small case) rather than the default Oyster bracelet. In very pleasing condition, it comes with our own presentation box and warranty card. Upon very close inspection the dial shows some minor signs of age, but this is an outstanding “entry-level” Oyster Perpetual. Please note that we no longer guarantee these older, plastic glass models to be water-resistant. A NEW Air-King now costs £4,750 but in truth a closer new equivalent may be the plain Oyster Perpetual 114200 at £3,850.

This is a slim, quartz strap watch, not an Oyster model, therefore intended for dress wear and not water-proof. While the strap bears the original, hallmarked 18ct buckle by Rolex, the leather part itself is a generic replacement, not from Rolex. The NEW equivalent was last listed with an RRP of £3,600! Robinson. Its case number suggests that it was manufactured around 1998 but the previous owner had a DMR receipt for it dated April 2005.
