In very pleasing condition with only moderate signs of age / wear to the bracelet. This 2003 model comes with original Datejust booklet, later Rolex boxes, our own warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. Rolex does not currently offer a NEW equivalent with such an MoP dial, but from the component parts we can determine that if they did it would now be around £9,000! As loyal devotees to the Rolex brand we are not great fans of customised pieces and will not supply such parts on customer request, but when our pawnbroking departments are left with one that is already fitted there always seems to be a queue of buyers! In very attractive condition, but we do note some wear to the bracelet. This circa 1992 model comes with a later YOUR OYSTER booklet, our own presentation box & warranty card and a certificate from the ALR Watch Register confirming that we checked it with them. The new equivalent, with just a plain, fluted gold bezel and no diamonds in the dial, is now £9,350!

Please note that such watches bear a Domino’s Pizza logo engraved on the case-back and a plate bearing the same logo that is riveted onto the bracelet at six o’clock. It has a random case number which means it cannot be older than 2010, although its condition suggests it may be even younger. This 854xxxxx case number watch is one of the first sapphire glass Sea-Dwellers and comes with original boxes and UK papers from David M. Robinson dated January 1987, the green plastic wallet in which they came, the alternate extension link and some David M. Robinson purchase / warranty papers detailing the original purchase price . . . £805! The bracelet and bezel insert are now showing their age but can be replaced, at a price. The dial is worthy of greater comment: over 27 years it has “marbled” evenly, acquiring an almost tropical or brown hue, currently rather in contrast to the newer set of bright white hands. Definitely one for a collector, either to keep as it is or to restore sympathetically. There aren't many 16660s on the market with their original papers now!
